Issue: The WebDrive app won’t start or the Interface is not visible when clicking on the shortcut or application file
The WebDrive application is likely minimized and stored out of view in the system tray icon.
By default, WebDrive runs at startup and stays hidden in the system tray icon, so the main Interface is not visible. This can be changed in the main application Settings:
Run at Startup can be toggled at the top of the settings menu
Turn this off to have WebDrive not start automatically at system start.
Hide in system tray at startup can be toggled under the Advanced dropdown.
Turn this off to have the WebDrive interface display each time you login to the system.
NOTE: If you do not see the Advanced setting options, scroll down and enable "Show all Settings". The Advanced options will now be visible.
The "X" in the top right of the interface only minimizes the WebDrive application (closes the window). To open the interface again, right-click the tray icon and choose "Show WebDrive".
To entirely exit WebDrive from the main screen, click on the vertical three dots menu (More Actions) and choose "Quit". You can also entirely exit WebDrive by right-clicking on the tray icon and choosing "Quit".
