SharePoint Propagation

SharePoint Propagation

SharePoint Changes or Additions not Reflected in WebDrive

Question

Changes, such as adding users as Members to sites, or permissions changes, are not being reflected in the WebDrive site listings for the SharePoint connection. What is going on?

Reasoning

Microsoft appears to utilize a 24-36 hour time frame for propagation of changes made in SharePoint.

Answer

Wait 24-36 hours and then try the operations again in WebDrive. If necessary, restart the computer or otherwise completely exit and restart WebDrive to ensure an updated listing.
