If you want to connect directly to a specific sub folder when using WebDrive for any connection EXCEPT for FTP and SFTP, use the "Root drive in this folder" setting.
After having created your site in WebDrive, click on the gear icon next to the site to edit the Settings.
Just below the Drive Letter setting is an option to "Root drive in this folder". Enable this option.
Click "Change" to navigate to, and select, the location of interest.
This may take a moment as WebDrive must connect to the server in order to retrieve and display the options available.
Click the "back arrow" at the top left. You will see a notification that the changes will be applied the next time WebDrive connects. WebDrive will attempt to do this now and display the contents of the selected folder.
WebDrive will now connect directly to the selected folder and display the contents each time the site is connected.
You can return to the settings menu to disable the setting, or to again change the selected folder
NOTE: For FTP and SFTP connections, set up your connection to your server as normal (base URL or IP Address). Edit the settings and under the FTP Settings or SFTP Settings dropdown, manually type in the desired path to the sub folder of interest in the "Default directory" setting option. This will have WebDrive connect directly to the folder specified
